Finally Spring!!

I'm sooo happy that spring is here. NO more snow YAY!! (happy dance). The yard has already been mowed a couple of times. Everything is looking greener and prettier and flowers are blooming. I looove, love to plant flowers. Our Easter went pretty good. Had the grandkids over. We (I meant I) decided not to for go the traditional easter meal this year. Instead, we had some desserts and sub sandwich slices and a couple of sides. DELISH right? EASY PEASY!! WE have a ham dinner for almost every holiday and quite honestly the thought of having that again for Easter almost makes me sick. But its done and over with so now Mothers Day will be upon us before you know it. I'm so thankful to be able to spend holidays with my kiddos and new grandbaby.  ***Rena***

It's been way too long...

I'm not quiet sure how time got away from me but it did. I have not blogged in a seriously long time. And I have no one to blame but myself. So lets see where I should start.. first off this year has been so hectic and busy. Our oldest son got married in January then a few short months later we got the news that we were expecting our first Grandbaby due next month (November) a sweet precious baby girl. I cannot express how ecstatically, over joyed and a bit overwhelmed at the same time. Being a first timer I just pray to God that I can be the best grandma to Bailey. Second...our second oldest child, our daughter Lindsey told us that she got engaged and we were super crazy busy trying to plan for her wedding which finally came on August 26,013. So far so good!!! By all means it is Not easy planning for a wedding and a baby shower all just a couple of months apart but it got done. Now the hubs and I are just down to our 10 & 15 year old boys at home. And they are ALL 100% pure boys who happen to be as different as night and day and I love them just as equally. Wouldn't have it any other way!! Well, hopefully I won't wait sooo long to blog again. But once my sweet grandbaby gets here i'm sure I will be posting lots of pics. Until next time.....XOXO Rena

It's Easter time!!!

Well i can not believe it's easter already. And that this month is already over with. My goodness were did march go? It sure wasn't a memorable month by far. With the crazy weather and all.  for sure have not seen snow in march in a very long, long time. You know i really wanted to have some pretty snow at christmas time. But... you know how mother nature is! Well not much to do today except for some house cleaning and getting ready for easter tomorrow. The easter bunny and all the pretty colored eggs are not what i think of when i think about easter. Its totally about jesus dying on the cross for our sins and beeing raised from the dead 3 days later. Hello to all you bloggers. Today's weather feels sooo wonderful today compared to how it's been lately. Mother nature can't seem to make her mind up on cold, or warm. But i will take the nice warm weather any day of the week!! Well tomorrow is my hubs 42nd birthday and i am going to be busy the rest of the day getting ready for tomorrow. Got a homemade coconut cream cake to make and big ol' ham to put in the oven first thing in the morning. So tootles for now.          X,O,X,O  Rena

You know, i really wanted to do this blog thing that seems sooo popular. But for some reason i just can't seem to get the hang of it. Maybe if i could actually sit still long enough i could get it up and running like i want it. Just way too many distraction going on right now. Don't get me wrong here, i love the whole blog thing and love to read other peoples blogs. There are so many great ones out there. Lots of which  are full of really great ideas.  I know of  a few people who blog, so just maybe i will have to have them help me get mine running up to par. just another day

Do you ever feel like you have a million things to do, but never enough time to get it all done? Well, that's pretty much how my days are. With helping my 9 yr old with his homework, dishes to be washed, laundry to do and cooking dinner and trying to keep a clean house. ( well, i try to keep it clean as much as i can :) But in the midst of all of this busy crazy family, still i wouldn't trade any of this for nothing in the world.
